# CETTIRE vs Chasing

CETTIRE and Chasing both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Chasing's written reviews are positive against 24% of CETTIRE's. Chasing also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). CETTIRE's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 76). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for CETTIRE against 4.9 for Chasing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CETTIRE has 17K ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of CETTIRE's written reviews are positive against 90% of Chasing's.

CETTIRE ships an update every 9 days, Chasing fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
