# AutoBids vs DirectBids

The clearest difference is rating: DirectBids at 5.0 against AutoBids's 4.1. AutoBids's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DirectBids holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AutoBids has 43 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AutoBids ships an update every 2 weeks, DirectBids every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
