# Modelsider vs eSign App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eSign App at 85% against Modelsider's 20%. eSign App also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 5). Modelsider's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modelsider sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and eSign App sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eSign App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eSign App has 1.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Modelsider ships an update every 2 weeks, eSign App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
