# Teleprompter Automatic vs TelePrompter Scripts for Video

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TelePrompter Scripts for Video at 71% against Teleprompter Automatic's 28%. Teleprompter Automatic's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter Automatic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and TelePrompter Scripts for Video sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter Automatic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter Automatic has 275 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Teleprompter Automatic's written reviews are positive against 71% of TelePrompter Scripts for Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teleprompter Automatic ships an update every 6 days, TelePrompter Scripts for Video every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
