# DeathNote App vs Castly+

The clearest difference is ads: DeathNote App at none against Castly+'s shown. Castly+'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months) and chart position (#161 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DeathNote App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Castly+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
