# A vs RET

The clearest difference is rating: RET at 4.7 against A's 3.0. RET also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 21%) and ratings volume (163 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RET holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RET has 163 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of A's written reviews are positive against 50% of RET's.

A ships an update every 4 months, RET every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
