# pCloud Pass vs Icedrive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Icedrive at 69% against pCloud Pass's 42%. Icedrive also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). pCloud Pass's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. pCloud Pass sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Icedrive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

pCloud Pass holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: pCloud Pass has 101 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of pCloud Pass's written reviews are positive against 69% of Icedrive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

pCloud Pass ships an update every 2 weeks, Icedrive every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
