# Covid vs Migration Tools

The clearest difference is update cadence: Covid at every 3 days against Migration Tools's every 10 days. Covid also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Covid ships an update every 3 days, Migration Tools every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
