# Covid vs UN Maps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Covid at every 3 days against UN Maps's every 3 weeks. Covid also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Covid ships an update every 3 days, UN Maps every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
