# Fora Communities vs JGF Forum

The clearest difference is rating: Fora Communities at 4.7 against JGF Forum's 3.3. Fora Communities also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). JGF Forum's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
