# Fora Communities vs Dang Free

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dang Free at 100% against Fora Communities's 26%. Dang Free also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Fora Communities's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fora Communities holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fora Communities has 1.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Fora Communities's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dang Free's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fora Communities ships an update every 9 days, Dang Free every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
