# Peregrine Mobile vs E

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Peregrine Mobile at 13 against E's 1. E's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Peregrine Mobile against 5.0 for E. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Peregrine Mobile has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Peregrine Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, E every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
