# FlipNow vs Active Dream

The clearest difference is update cadence: Active Dream at every 11 days against FlipNow's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipNow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Active Dream sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipNow ships an update every 3 months, Active Dream every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
