# 5 Second Rule vs Disklosed

The clearest difference is ads: 5 Second Rule at none against Disklosed's shown. Disklosed's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 5 Second Rule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days and Disklosed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

5 Second Rule ships an update every 6 months, Disklosed every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
