# FanDuel Faceoff vs Crowd Quizz

The clearest difference is rating: FanDuel Faceoff at 4.7 against Crowd Quizz's 2.1. FanDuel Faceoff also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 10). Crowd Quizz's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FanDuel Faceoff holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanDuel Faceoff has 26K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of FanDuel Faceoff's written reviews are positive against 14% of Crowd Quizz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FanDuel Faceoff ships an update every 3 weeks, Crowd Quizz weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
