# FanDuel Faceoff vs Thumbsi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thumbsi at 67% against FanDuel Faceoff's 8%. Thumbsi also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). FanDuel Faceoff's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (26K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FanDuel Faceoff holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanDuel Faceoff has 26K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of FanDuel Faceoff's written reviews are positive against 67% of Thumbsi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FanDuel Faceoff ships an update every 3 weeks, Thumbsi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
