# FanDuel Faceoff vs Connectionary

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Connectionary at 100% against FanDuel Faceoff's 8%. FanDuel Faceoff's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connectionary sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. FanDuel Faceoff asks for nothing beyond the download.

FanDuel Faceoff holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanDuel Faceoff has 26K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of FanDuel Faceoff's written reviews are positive against 100% of Connectionary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FanDuel Faceoff ships an update every 3 weeks, Connectionary fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
