# Smart vs weLearning

The clearest difference is update cadence: weLearning at every 10 days against Smart's every 12 months. Smart's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart ships an update every 12 months, weLearning every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
