# Note Widget vs PixeShare

The clearest difference is rating: Note Widget at 4.6 against PixeShare's 2.0. Note Widget also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). PixeShare's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Widget sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. PixeShare asks for nothing beyond the download.

Note Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Widget has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Note Widget ships an update weekly, PixeShare fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
