# Note Widget vs CardSignal

The clearest difference is ads: CardSignal at none against Note Widget's shown. CardSignal also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Note Widget's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Widget sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and CardSignal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CardSignal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Widget has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
