# MyForney vs EarthLink

The clearest difference is rating: MyForney at 5.0 against EarthLink's 1.9. MyForney also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). EarthLink's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyForney holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EarthLink has 154 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyForney ships an update every 7 months, EarthLink every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
