# Pool Soft vs Swimvu

The clearest difference is update cadence: Swimvu at every 3 weeks against Pool Soft's every 6 months. Swimvu also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pool Soft against 5.0 for Swimvu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swimvu has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pool Soft ships an update every 6 months, Swimvu every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
