# Animal Set vs arcticSea

The clearest difference is ads: arcticSea at none against Animal Set's shown. arcticSea also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animal Set sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and arcticSea sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Animal Set ships an update every 6 months, arcticSea every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
