# YouPlus VPN vs EmmaVPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EmmaVPN at 100% against YouPlus VPN's 50%. EmmaVPN also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 43 months). YouPlus VPN's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EmmaVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. YouPlus VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

YouPlus VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of YouPlus VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of EmmaVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouPlus VPN ships an update every 43 months, EmmaVPN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
