# Becord vs Clip Jar

The clearest difference is monetization model: Clip Jar at free against Becord's freemium. Becord's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Becord sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per year and Clip Jar sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Becord against 4.6 for Clip Jar. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 14 respectively.

Becord ships an update every 8 days, Clip Jar every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
