# Grabz vs TripTails

The clearest difference is rating: TripTails at 5.0 against Grabz's 4.5. TripTails also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Grabz's advantage is ratings volume (156 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grabz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. TripTails asks for nothing beyond the download.

TripTails holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grabz has 156 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grabz ships an update fortnightly, TripTails every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
