# PatternBud vs isxynth

The clearest difference is review sentiment: isxynth at 100% against PatternBud's 44%. isxynth also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). PatternBud's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 34 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

PatternBud costs $4.99 and isxynth $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PatternBud holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of PatternBud's written reviews are positive against 100% of isxynth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PatternBud ships an update every 2 weeks, isxynth every 34 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
