# Simple Counter+ vs Tally

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tally at 30 against Simple Counter+'s 3. Simple Counter+'s advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Simple Counter+ against 4.6 for Tally. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
