# ScanMate vs Procure+

The clearest difference is rating: Procure+ at 5.0 against ScanMate's 4.6. ScanMate's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (351 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScanMate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Procure+ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Procure+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScanMate has 351 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScanMate ships an update every 3 months, Procure+ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
