# XIL Fly vs V99 Cam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: XIL Fly at 50% against V99 Cam's 7%. XIL Fly also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). V99 Cam's advantage is rating (1.7 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (304 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V99 Cam holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V99 Cam has 304 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of XIL Fly's written reviews are positive against 7% of V99 Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XIL Fly ships an update every 2 weeks, V99 Cam monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
