# Unity by Hard Rock vs MOD Ride Yuba

The clearest difference is rating: Unity by Hard Rock at 4.9 against MOD Ride Yuba's 3.0. Unity by Hard Rock also leads on ratings volume (33K vs 4) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MOD Ride Yuba's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 42%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unity by Hard Rock holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unity by Hard Rock has 33K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Unity by Hard Rock's written reviews are positive against 50% of MOD Ride Yuba's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Unity by Hard Rock ships an update every 4 weeks, MOD Ride Yuba fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
