# Wishlist Maker vs Jellybook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wishlist Maker at none against Jellybook's 3. Wishlist Maker also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 53) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Jellybook's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jellybook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Wishlist Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wishlist Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wishlist Maker has 2.1K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Wishlist Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Jellybook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wishlist Maker ships an update every 3 months, Jellybook every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
