# Sounds True vs Eckhart Tolle Now

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sounds True at free with in-app purchases against Eckhart Tolle Now's subscription. Sounds True also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 5). Eckhart Tolle Now's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 26%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sounds True sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Eckhart Tolle Now sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sounds True holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sounds True has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Sounds True's written reviews are positive against 50% of Eckhart Tolle Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sounds True ships an update every 2 months, Eckhart Tolle Now every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
