# Crypto Magnet vs Desert Danger

The clearest difference is rating: Desert Danger at 5.0 against Crypto Magnet's 4.0. Desert Danger also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Crypto Magnet's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crypto Magnet sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Desert Danger asks for nothing beyond the download.

Desert Danger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crypto Magnet has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Crypto Magnet ships an update every 5 weeks, Desert Danger every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
