# DaysLeft vs Schengen Simple

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Schengen Simple at 96% against DaysLeft's 50%. Schengen Simple also leads on ratings volume (363 vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). DaysLeft's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 22) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Schengen Simple sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. DaysLeft asks for nothing beyond the download.

DaysLeft holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schengen Simple has 363 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of DaysLeft's written reviews are positive against 96% of Schengen Simple's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DaysLeft ships an update every 3 weeks, Schengen Simple weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
