# Sequence vs Foldcast

The clearest difference is update cadence: Foldcast at weekly against Sequence's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequence sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Foldcast sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sequence ships an update every 3 months, Foldcast weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
