# Jomo vs aLock

Jomo and aLock both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Jomo's written reviews are positive against 44% of aLock's. Jomo also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 32). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jomo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and aLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Jomo against 4.7 for aLock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jomo has 2.6K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Jomo's written reviews are positive against 44% of aLock's.

Jomo ships an update fortnightly, aLock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
