# MySub vs Subscription tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Subscription tracker at 79 against MySub's 2. Subscription tracker also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.1). MySub's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (67% vs 52%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MySub sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Subscription tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subscription tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subscription tracker has 79 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of MySub's written reviews are positive against 52% of Subscription tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MySub ships an update fortnightly, Subscription tracker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
