# WindsAloftPro vs TECNOCK

The clearest difference is rating: WindsAloftPro at 3.0 against TECNOCK's 2.5. TECNOCK's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WindsAloftPro holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of WindsAloftPro's written reviews are positive against 50% of TECNOCK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WindsAloftPro ships an update every 6 months, TECNOCK every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
