# EcoNet vs Jackson County IQ

The clearest difference is ratings volume: EcoNet at 14K against Jackson County IQ's 10. EcoNet also leads on review sentiment (15% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jackson County IQ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EcoNet has 14K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of EcoNet's written reviews are positive against 0% of Jackson County IQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EcoNet ships an update every 5 weeks, Jackson County IQ every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
