# EcoNet vs CalaWater

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CalaWater at 100% against EcoNet's 15%. CalaWater also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). EcoNet's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CalaWater holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EcoNet has 14K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of EcoNet's written reviews are positive against 100% of CalaWater's.
