# Nerdify vs My College Compass

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Nerdify at none against My College Compass's 1. Nerdify also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). My College Compass's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My College Compass sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Nerdify asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nerdify against 5.0 for My College Compass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdify has 2.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
