# Pump Swappers vs Carrier SmartHome

The clearest difference is rating: Pump Swappers at 4.9 against Carrier SmartHome's 3.5. Pump Swappers also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Carrier SmartHome's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 21) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pump Swappers holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carrier SmartHome has 2.6K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Pump Swappers's written reviews are positive against 11% of Carrier SmartHome's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pump Swappers ships an update every 2 months, Carrier SmartHome fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
