# RIC vs IP

The clearest difference is price: IP at Free against RIC's $1.99. RIC's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

IP is free to download; RIC costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RIC ships an update every 3 weeks, IP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
