# Interval Timer vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Interval Timer at freemium against Interval Timer's subscription. Interval Timer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Interval Timer's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Interval Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interval Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interval Timer has 3.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
