# CoachIQ vs Good Drills

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CoachIQ at none against Good Drills's 4. CoachIQ also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Good Drills sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. CoachIQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

CoachIQ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 43 and 111 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of CoachIQ's written reviews are positive against 88% of Good Drills's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CoachIQ ships an update weekly, Good Drills every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
