# Gizmo vs PHINMA Ed Learning App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PHINMA Ed Learning App at none against Gizmo's 10. PHINMA Ed Learning App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Gizmo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gizmo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. PHINMA Ed Learning App asks for nothing beyond the download.

PHINMA Ed Learning App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gizmo has 17K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Gizmo's written reviews are positive against 46% of PHINMA Ed Learning App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gizmo ships an update every 4 days, PHINMA Ed Learning App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
