# Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ vs Oceandex

Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ and Oceandex both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Oceandex's. Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 12). Oceandex's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Oceandex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Oceandex holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ has 4.7K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Oceandex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scuba Diving Computer Oceanic+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Oceandex every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
