# Appÿ vs Timeleft

Appÿ and Timeleft both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 49% of Timeleft's written reviews are positive against 7% of Appÿ's. Timeleft also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Appÿ's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timeleft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Appÿ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Appÿ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeleft has 8.9K ratings behind it against 778, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Appÿ's written reviews are positive against 49% of Timeleft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Appÿ ships an update every 3 weeks, Timeleft weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
