# NextVPN vs V2Lite VPN

The clearest difference is ratings volume: NextVPN at 45K against V2Lite VPN's 3.9K. NextVPN also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (67% vs 57%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and V2Lite VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for NextVPN against 4.6 for V2Lite VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextVPN has 45K ratings behind it against 3.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of NextVPN's written reviews are positive against 57% of V2Lite VPN's.

NextVPN ships an update weekly, V2Lite VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
